1.50ct Burmese Ruby And 0.66ct Diamond, Platinum Dress Ring - Antique Circa 1930

£7,950    $10,112    €9,585
A stunning, fine and impressive antique 1.50 carat Burmese ruby and 0.66 carat diamond, platinum dress ring; part of our diverse Burmese ruby jewellery collections

This stunning antique ruby ring has been crafted in platinum.

The pierced decorated setting is ornamented with an impressive feature eight-claw set 1.50ct cushion cut Burmese ruby.

The central stone is encompassed with thirty-six pave set eight-cut diamonds, incorporated into the interlacing, millegrain decorated domed setting.

The tapering shoulders feature a continuation of the aforementioned intricately detailed decoration and melds with the plain hallmarked ring shank, completing the design.

The outer surface of the shank is hallmarked with the French import platinum mark (masked man) and the ruby ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum.

The Burmese ruby and diamond dress ring is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card, in addition to a ruby report certificate from the Gemmological Certificate Services (GCS), London*.

Such stunning examples with the original antique settings are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.

NOTE: * This documentation accredits the ruby originating in Myanmar (Burma) and certifies that the gemstone shows no indications of heating.
