Lovely Victorian silver and glass perfume bottle; of fine quality by great makers of the period; the glass bottle has a ''penny'' stopper and is encased in a silver casing depicting a rural scene of a bagpipe player and two ladies. the plain shoulders have an engraving ''Xmas 1898'', the year of manufacture. Hidden in the decoration is the maker''s pattern number for this piece. Absolutely charming.
