Silver Tea Strainer With Bowl Birmingham 1958/59 By Lanson Ltd

A superb solid silver tea strainer and stand with nicely pierced handles on either side. The strainer sits on the circular bowl to catch residue drips.
 
Clear hallmarks are visible on both the strainer and bowl for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1958 & 1959 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver, along with the silver makers marks for Lanson Ltd
 
 
 
A most attractive tea strainer which would make a wonderful and practical gift.
 
 
 
Condition: In good condition, with just some tiny age-related dints to the edge of the strainer, barely noticeable but mentioned for accuracy. Please note: any black marks visible are purely reflections of the camera when photographing.
