Description

A magnificent and rare piece of Sampson Mordan solid / sterling silver in the form of a paperknife with a novelty handle in the form of an owl with two fabulous original glass eyes.

Just back from our silversmith where we had any scratches removed, professionally cleaned and polished, restoring it to it's former glory.

The blade is fully hallmarked for London 1894, a true Victorian collectable; together with the makers mark for Sampson Mordan.

Superb condition measuring 8 1/4" x 1" x 1".
