An early and very fine example of a bosuns persuader. These items were used by senior non commissioned naval officers to keep sailors in line. This fine example is made of baleen and is weighted at one end with metal which is skillfully covered with a fine thread and has a wonderful patina Circa 1770 There is a £12 charge for postage and packing International Shipping.
