Beautiful Regency Mahogany Bergere Chair

Description

A beautiful late Regency mahogany bergère chair, having a shaped back with scrolled arms, drop in seat and original horse hair. The whole raised on acanthus carved tapering front legs and splayed back legs with original high quality gilt lacquered brass castors. Superb original finish with a rich colour and patina throughout. Strong tight frame and now ready for upholstery. English, Circa 1820.
