Description

Antique Omega pocket watch, 1902.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, signed with the early Omega logo, which is working nicely. The movement has the serial number 2055466 which dates it back to 1902. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a few little indentations.

The inside of the back cover has some writing scratched in which seems to read, ‘Alfred Archer,

24 July 1914’.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are small Continental hallmarks inside both of the case backs, together with the early Omega logo. The outside of the case is in good condition, just a couple of small “dings” to the side and short scratches by the stem but nothing too detrimental at all. The back of the watch is beautifully detailed with an intricate pattern.

The acrylic lens is in lovely condition.

The dial is in lovely condition, it may have been re-finished at some stage.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
