1905 Royal Doulton Huntley & Palmer Porcelain Biscuit Barrel Old Mother Hubbard

This is an antique porcelain biscuit barrel in the shape of a chest of drawers from Royal Doulton.
 
This piece was made for Huntley & Palmer''s Nursery Rhymes series and has a nice depiction of Old Mother Hubbard on the lid.
 
It has Rd. No. 459880 on the base, which corresponds to a 1905 manufacturing date.

There are some signs of age and wear. There are some areas where the paintwork is worn and flaked off, mainly around the edge of the inner rim, which does not detract. A great-looking piece of generous size, measuring 18cm by 14cm
