Description

A large and decorative sterling silver syphon stand from the Art Deco period. It really is a striking piece of silver and it will look quite spectacular seating a bottle of wine or champagne. A good gauge of silver has been used giving it a good solid feel and a lovely deep shine.
Fully hallmarked sterling silver, 1917 Sheffield.
The makers mark is of the Cooper Brothers Ltd.
It is in an excellent condition for its age with the piercing being free from any splits or repairs.
Stands steady and true.
Some very light surface wear that is noticeable on a close inspection.
20cm height.
14cm diameter at base.
It will seat a decanter or bottle with of a diameter of up to 11cm
