W.R. Harvey & Co. (Antiques) Ltd has dated this Regency Mahogany Hunt Table to the 19th Century.
Regency mahogany hunt table, attributed to Gillows, with demi-lune top with a removable centre section revealing a brass cross bar to accommodate the brass decanter arm on casters and hinged flaps above a plain frieze, supported on tapering reeded legs terminating in brass cups and casters. These bear the inscription “LEWTY PATENT” under a crown.

Hackwood Park, Christie’s sale catalogue, April 1998, Lot 162, page 144. This Hunt or Social table was made for the dining room and supplied by Gillows with the other dining room furniture in 1813.
A pair of these tables was made for Broughton Hall by Gillows in 1813.
