Description

Fabulous oil on canvas portrait with decorative frame signed Achille-Fould. Set in pale blue background this young woman with her sweet smile is painted beautifully. The frame does have some imperfections however it is solid and is very decorative. This half- length portrait by George Achille-Fould will enhance any wall.
Georges Achille-Fould (1865-1951) was a French painter born in Asnières-sur-Seine as the daughter of the actress Josephine Wilhelmine and politician Gustave-Eugène Fould.
