Antique Walnut Queen Anne Style Dining Table And Eight Chairs

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: Marylebone Antiques

A magnificent antique walnut Queen Anne style dining table and eight chairs. This was made in England, it dates from the 1920’s.

The quality is absolutely superb, the chairs are beautifully constructed, they are very sturdy with crisp carving and gorgeous burr walnut grain patterns. There are six side chairs, and two carver armchairs with shepherds crook arms. The dining table has a stunning figured walnut top with cross banded edges and double herringbone borders. This has an extra leaf which extends the table to comfortable seat all eight chairs. This sits on a twin pedestal base, each one with beautifully carved tripod legs.

We have had all the wood re-polished, the drop in seats have been newly upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent for its age.
