A Silver Gilt Pocelain Mantel Clock by Brocot

Description

A fine quality French mantel clock by Achille Brocot (1850-1889). A silver gilt case surmounted by a handled bowl and acorn finials. High quality, signed porcelain panels to the front and convex panels to the sides. Red jewelled case detailing. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell with the A*B mark for Brocot. Circa 1885.
