The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The movement is signed Craftsman and has the Cyma calibre 999. This brand name was registered by at least five watch companies, one of which would have bought the movements in from Cyma for watches to be sold under the Craftsman brand name.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from the Dennison Watch Case Company, the Birmingham based company supplied various watch makers with cases. The case is in lovely condition.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition just light marking visible through a jeweller’s loupe.
The signed dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
