Description

This antique travelling campaign mirror which dates from c1860 is made of a lovely rich mahogany wood with brass hinges, carrying handle and lock.

The wooden hinged case can be locked and unlocked by using the key and when opened folds back on to one of the three interior notches so the mirror can be used at different angles. The mirror has some wonderful distressing / foxing to the plate so has an attractive antique look.

Dimensions when closed: Length: 43 cm (17"). Width: 34 cm (13 1/2"). Height: 5.5 cm (2 1/4").

Weight: 2740 g.

Condition: Good used antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some scuffs and marks with a wonderful patina and colour. Mirror glass has silvering / foxing and light marks giving an attractive distressed look. Some repairs and deep scratches to the inside.
