Description
An unusual Irish armchair circa 1780. With beautiful outswept arms and wide seat. The seat is in excellent condition having been re-webbed and re-covered. Although showing minor, old signs of worm (long dead), which is not unusual in a walnut chair of this age and some historic repairs which do not detract, this is still a good solid chair full of character. Could be used as an office chair or would grace any other room of the house. Height - 39" / 100cm Height to seat - 18" / 46cm Width - 28" / 71cm Depth - 20" / 51cm All items are offered for sale in excellent condition commensurate with age and ready to go straight into the home.
