Description

An almost unbearably beautiful Victorian ring, set with five gems of the finest quality. The oval cut sapphire in the centre displays a deep royal blue with flashes of cobalt, which sit between a pair of super-white square cushion shaped old mine cut diamond with a pair of pigeon blood rubies at the end. The stone sit nice and snug to the finger within an ornate gallery, leading to a slim, slightly knife-edge yellow gold shank. A truly individual ring.
Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30310467).
Cut Oval cut sapphire, cushion cut ruby and old mine cut diamonds.
Colour The diamonds are E to F.
Clarity The sapphire and rubies are loupe clean. The diamonds are SI1.
Carat The sapphire is approximately 0.50 carat. Each ruby is approximately 0.12 carat, and each diamond is conservatively gauged at 0.10 carat.
Circa 1890.
Size Q (UK) or 8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down. There is a limit to how much this can be altered, so please contact us before ordering should you need this ring resized.
Measurements From the outer edge of one ruby to the other is 15.2. The ring is 7mm at the widest point and sits 3mm from the finger.
