The pendant features a wonderful Art Nouveau gold mount with an almost Japonaiserie-like fan design in which a central amethyst is surrounded by seed pearls of varying sizes. Beneath, volute scrolls terminate with a single seed pearl just above the freely suspended amethyst drop.
Owing to its design and the freely moving bail, this pendant suspends very elegantly which splendidly accentuates the overall design upon wearing. The rear pin also allows for this piece to be worn as a brooch, extending its use upon your choice of attire.
Overall a truly elegant, distinguished and classical piece of Edwardian/Art Nouveau jewellery, ideal for the discerning antique jewellery lover and a conversation starter for the keen-eyed.
