Antique Pearl & Diamond Cluster Ring 18ct Gold - C.1900s

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: Artisan Antiques

We are delighted to offer this stunning antique pearl and diamond 18ct gold cluster ring made c.1900s.

A lovely round central pearl is surrounded by 10 round old cut diamonds set in 18ct white gold that accentuate the top portion of the ring and compliments the creamy white pearl and the sparkle of the diamonds.

The white gold mount is finely made and the stones are set in a way that the entire cluster glistens magnificently under light (particularly natural) as the stones are angled ever so slightly differently to the next one and the silver colour reflects the light even further.

Distinguished in style and made in the late Victorian/Edwardian period, this ring features not only lovely stones but fine goldsmithing of the period. A further look at the gold ''shoulders'' of the ring displays the level of detailing and finesse where hand-engraved scrolled embellishments compliment the top portion whilst blending into the contrasting gold colour of the ring.

Such combination of fine goldsmithing and jewellery design makes this an excellent and versatile choice whether be it for wearing as a contrasting piece of jewellery among other pieces or as an eye-catching single ring. A wonderful addition to a pearl lover and the perfect gift for a very lucky individual.

Pearl is known to be the birthstone for June and diamonds for April.

The ring is marked 18ct in the inner shank and we have tested both parts, gold and white gold for 18ct.

All of our rings come with a complimentary hard shell gift box with a velvet interior.
