A LATE GEORGIAN OAK LONGCASE CLOCK; OGEE CORNICE ABOVE REEDED PILLARS FLANKING OAK DOOR REVEALING BRASS DIAL. ORNATE SPANDRELS TO THE CORNERS SILVERED CHAPTER RING ENGRAVED WITH ROMAN NUMERALS, CENTRE DATE AND SECONDS APETURE, ENGRAVED WITH THE NAME JOHN ROBERTS. MOVEMENT RUNNING IN THE SHOWROOM. THE CASE WITH SHAPED DOOR FLANKED BY REEDED QUARTER COLUMNS, WEIGHTS AND PENDULUM. THE BASE WITH APPLIED PANEL, SOLID TIMBER SIDES AND BACK , STOOD ON BRACKET FEET. GENERAL USAGE WEAR AS PER PHOTOS. BOUGHT PRIVATELY.
