Description

A beautiful, possibly American, solid sterling silver desk or table bell. It is hallmarked STERLING and tests as such. I would date it to c1940. It has been superbly designed and is in super condition being free from dings holes and repairs. It rings nicely. The wooden handle has cracks but is stable (easy to replace as it can be unscrewed). It measures approx. 3.5 inches (8.6cm) tall by 2.25 inches (5.6cm) across and weighs 58 grams. A very nice quality well made example.
