A fine 18th Century Mahogany Spider Table in perfect condition having original hinges and rule joint to the top without repair. The gates and top in excellent working order.
The top made in fiddleback Mahogany, the base with finely turned legs and feet. A sign of quality is the half round fitted to the underside of the rule joint at the ends, this is so that when the leaves are dropped there is no gap when viewed from the ends. Circa 1760
