Signed M Farquhar.

The artist is believed to Maria Farquhar (1825-1889), daughter of Sir Thomas Harvy, 2nd Baronet, Farquhar,

Maria Farquhar was a painter and writer, including the 1855 publication of "Biographical Catalogue of the Principal Italian Painters".

The watercolour is mounted and framed with the frame measuring ca 37 cm x 24 cm.
