An unusual, antique, solid silver compact which could be used as a pendant. Hexagonal in shape, with a central circular hinged lid, which when opened displays a mirror. The interior has a lovely gilt washed finish and on the base the hallmarks are visible for Birmingham 1923, along with the Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver and maker''s mark: Crisford & Norris Ltd.There is a loop at the top for attachment to a chain or chatelaine.
Condition: In lovely condition (some light surface scratching to the silver and a very light indentation on the back, commensurate with age and mentioned only for complete accuracy).
Hallmarks: Birmingham 1923 by Crisford & Norris.
