English Sterling Silver Pair Arts & Crafts Candlesticks Sheffield 1910

These are a handsome matching pair of English Sterling silver candlesticks. The design is typical of Arts and Crafts. Full set of hallmarks assayed in Sheffield in 1910 at the base and hallmarks around the candle holders together with a makers mark for Arthur James Ramsay of Dundee, Scotland. These candlesticks have square bases which curve into tapered columns below a wide drip pan with candle holders. The bases have strap work to the corners with rivets applied. The bases are weighted for stability. These have been lightly hand polished.
