Victorian Mahogany Chest of Drawers

19th century
Description

A beautiful mahogany chest of drawers dating from the mid to late 19th Century. It is a good large size and offers plenty of storage with two short over three long drawers. The drawers have their original turned knobs and are flanked by reeded columns. The chest is excellent quality and very well made with a lovely rich patina. The drawers are oak lined and made with fine hand cut dovetail joints.

It is in excellent original condition. The drawers open well and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are the usual signs of wear, some minor marks and light knocks and a few marks on the top but nothing detrimental or untoward. They have been cleaned and gently polished and are ready for use.
