A charming and stylish pair of early 19th Century French engravings after French Master Louis Leopold Boilly (1761-1845). Editid in circa 1835/30, they depict a Departure (with a young man being hugged and kissed) and a Good News (in the form of a letter) respectively. Without margins, they are presented in airy glass-and-board only frames that would look great anywhere.
With the size of each engraving being 18.5 x 19 cm, the size of the frames are 24 x 24.5 cm apiece.
