A rare George II mahogany partners architects table of good colour and patination, the solid mahogany hinged top with a drop leaf that can be supported to double the surface area to a length of 115 cm, the top with two ratchet supports to work at either side while standing, a spring-loaded book rest on one side and a removable support on the other slope, with two slides either side, one with storage for pen and ink bottle, having a main drawer retaining the original handles and escutcheon, standing on solid chamfered and moulded legs joined by the original worn stretchers and resting on small brass castors.
