The colour of the gem is highlighted by the blindingly white round brilliant cut diamonds in the surround. The intricate piercing in the gallery conforms to a satisfyingly substantial D-shaped yellow gold shank.

Accompanied by a gemmological report from Bellerophon Gemlab stating the stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
Cut – Oval cut sapphire with round brilliant cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are E to F.
Clarity – The sapphire is eye clean. The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The sapphire is 2.007 carat, with a total approximate diamond weight of 1.00 carat.
Circa – 1965.

Size – M (UK) or 6 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is 8.47 x 5.9mm. The head of the ring is 16.4 x 13.4mm and sits 6.5mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow gold. Tested.
