Late C19th Chinese Qing Dynasty carved hardwood square 2-tier table.High quality Chinese carved ‘huali’ table or jardiniere stand with intricately carved and pierced friezes with leaf and flower-head detail . Raised on shaped supports and standing on carved claw feet . Panelled top and under tier , both with minor historic shrinkage gaps to the boarded construction.In excellent original condition with no losses or repairs. The top tier with a faint historic circular mark or stain from a vase or jardiniere. Rich colour and patina to the densely grained timber . Has been sympathetically cleaned and waxed in our workshops , ready for the home.
