Mid Century 1.14 Carat Minor Oil Emerald & Baguette Cut Diamond Ring, Circa 1960

Description

Unique and high quality. This impressive vintage emerald ring features a glowing vivid green emerald which has been certified by GIA as Zambian in origin and having received only minor oiling. The stone is secured by four yellow gold claw and sits within an outrageously pretty cluster of fourteen high white and internally clean baguette cut diamonds in white gold. Sits a slim 18k yellow gold shank which splits at the shoulders.

Accompanied by a report from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) stating the emerald is Zambian and has only received minor clarity enhancement.

Cut – Octagonal step-cut emerald and baguette diamonds.

Colour – Diamonds are F to G.

Clarity – Some visible inclusions in the emerald (as is normal and expected for this stone). The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.

Carat – The emerald is 1.14 carat. The total estimated diamond weight 0.70 carat

Circa – 1960.

Measurements – The emerald is 6.19 x 6.08mm. The head of the ring is 10.5 x 13.25. Sits 5.9mm from the finger.

Size – I(i) 1/2 (UK) or 4.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Metal – 18k white and yellow gold. Tested.
