1930s Silver Cushion Cased Wrist Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 32mm wide excluding the winding crown and 32mm high excluding the fixed lugs. The case is silver and there are marks for 935 silver inside the case back. The case is in good condition, just some unevenness to the back.

The lens looks good to the naked eye, some light marking if viewed through a magnifying loupe.

The dial has a couple of hairline cracks and scratching.

Originally there would have been radium detailing to the numbers and hands but this has been removed over the years.

The watch has a vintage leather strap.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
