Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: The Old Yard

A beautiful French Triptych Mirror that bears the stamp of Miroir Brot by the handle and also on the frame. Miroir Brot was established in 1826 by Francois Brot, who later invented the Triptych.  Miroir Brot is of unrivaled quality and is recognised for it''s excellence in Triptych and Beauty mirrors.

This lovely example has cloth covering to the mirror when folded over and is faded and slightly stained in places.  The mirror plate has signs of foxing in places, as would be expected from age and use.  There is some damage to the frame along the bottom edge.
