George IV Irish Silver Caddy Spoon Dublin 1820

A Superb Quality GEORGIAN IRISH SILVER TEA CADDY SPOON crafted by James Scott and assayed in Dublin in 1820.

Despite being over 200 years old this superb Silver Caddy Spoon is in very good condition (see condition report below) and is as lovely now as the day it was crafted.

The caddy spoon has a scallop-shaped bowl with a plain bordered handle and to the rear of the handle is a small group of engraved initials of a previous owner (see photo)

This wonderful piece would have once belonged to a wealthy Georgian Family and used daily in a time when tea drinking was an Art and very expensive.

This will add something very special to any collection.
