1922 hallmarked silver and leather covered glass hip flask.The leather is a good colour and in excellent condition. Good size, it holds 3/8 pint.Made by James Dixon & Sons with the cap and cup both hallmarked in Sheffield with the date letter for 1922.It comes with a cork lined bayonet cap and removable cup.Height 6 1/8 inches 15.5 cmWidth 3 3/4 inches 9.5 cmDepth 1 1/4 inch 3.2 cm.The condition is excellent and the flask is liquid tight with no leakage. The leather is also excellent with no tears or splits.Surface marks to the cup and cap form age and use and small dinks to the cap but nothing you wouldn''t expect to see on a flask this old.
