Chester Antique Art Deco Silver Biscuit Barrel, 1934

Description

A beautiful Art Deco silver biscuit barrel or box. Made in Chester in 1934 by Blanckensee and sons. It has a pineapple finial and a pair of lion mask handles. There are a full set of hallmarks underneath and it is gilded inside. This is a true biscuit box as the lid has a very tight seal which opens with a satisfying pop! A rare piece of Chester silver which would be very useable and very collectible.
