A magnificent French silver plated Champagne bucket / wine cooler together with an underplate / dish to catch condensation drips, almost never seen.

The finest quality to be expected, very, very heavy and solid by the top-notch Parisian silversmith, Christofle.

The Champagne bucket has two very grand Ram's head handles. Both pieces have just arrived back from our silversmith's workshop, where they have been professionally overhauled, cleaned and polished restoring them to showroom condition.

Dating to c.1960, they are in superb condition. Each struck with the maker's marks for Christofle, France.

The cooler measures 9 3/4" handle to handle x 7 3/4" x 8 1/4" tall; the dish measures 10 1/4" in diameter x 1 1/2".
