Victorian Mahogany Desk

Description

A good quality antique Victorian mahogany writing table or desk with 4 drawers. In mellow flame-figured mahogany it stands on elegant turned legs with ceramic casters. It has a gallery back above two capacious drawers, each with 2 knob-handles above 2 smaller drawers. A well-proportioned piece, it is a good size, offering lots of work space but not too large. In original condition with wear and marks to the top commensurate with age.

Solid and sturdy. Good colour. Some marks, scuffs and wear to the top commensurate with age. An old split to the top.
