The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel movement, signed Switana 211, which is working nicely. The name Switana was registered by the Switana Watch Company Ltd, Grenchen, Switzerland in 1929.

The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is silver and there is a London import mark inside the case hinged case back. Unfortunately the date letter is not visible. There is also a sponsor’s mark for George Stockwell.

From 1 June 1907, Stockwells acted as assay agents, facilitating the import into Britain of foreign gold and silver items which had to be assayed and hallmarked in a UK assay office before being released for retail.

The case is in good condition, just gentle unevenness to the back of the watch.
The later acrylic lens is in good condition.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
