Antique Wheel Barometer with Rare Scene to the Main Dial by C. Realini of Preston

Description

An excellent 10" mahogany antique wheel barometer with rare landscape engraving to the main dial.

The 10" silvered brass dial calibrated from 28" to 31" with usual weather indicators and rare engraving to the centre featuring a church, cottages, a windmill and a dovecote. The dial with convex glazed brass bezel. The silvered brass thermometer scale calibrated from 30º to 110º Fahrenheit and mounted in a removable box. Also with hygrometer, level and mirror. The mahogany case with boxwood and ebony edge inlay. The swan neck top with central ivory finial.
