Brief Description:

This is an exquisite original early 20th Century English antique Oil on Board Riverscape painting depicting a lone fisherman who is holding his rod whilst standing knee-deep in a fast-flowing river that is set within a beautiful tree-lined rural landscape setting.

Painted during the first quarter of the 20th Century, and mounted within its original wonderful quality gilt moulded frame.

It is a beautiful depiction of rural British life, with superb detail of the trees and flowing river.
