19th Century Pair Of Blue Glass Candlesticks

£145    $181    €174
An extremely attractive and unusual pair of 19th century metal candlesticks with vibrant blue glass stems.

The bases of both candlesticks are heavily decorated in an acanthus design, almost Persian in nature, with foliate leaves leading up to the opalescent blue glass stems which terminate in metal leaves and flower candle sconces.

There is historic wax to the bases in areas and the stem of one candlestick has some small chips to the top join (please see photogaphs). The candlesticks nonetheless remain extremely attractive and vibrant.

Dimensions:-

Height: 28cm

Diameter of base: 10.75cm

Diameter of candle holder recess: 2.5cm
