An excellent example of a 19th century silver travelling lockdown inkwell.

Excellent condition fully marked London 1835 William IV. Each part of the silver is marked. Makers mark Archibald Douglas

The family crest to the top of a hand holding a sword with a boars head impaled would appear to be for the “Clancy” family.
