A Victorian silver sovereign case with clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1890 ad makers initials JH. Several makers registered these initials. Due to their shape, the most probable maker is Joseph Hawkins. The sovereign case has a plain smooth exterior, with perfectly working mechanisms. In good clean condition.
