Antique Victorian Mahogany Linen Clothes Press Wardrobe C1860

Description

Superb antique victorian mahogany linen press and dating from around 1860. It has a rounded cornice top with deep mahogany frieze above two arched panelled doors and with four internal mahogany sliding trays which could be removed and a hanging rail fitted if required. To the base there are two short drawers over two long drawers all of which are mahogany lined with original turned mahogany knob handles. It has rounded corners and stands on a plinth base.

The top removes from the base for ease of transporting.

Measures: 83" high X 22" deep X internal depth 18" X 50" wide

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany oozing the charm and character of the victorian period.
