1945 Omega Ambassador Automatic Wristwatch

1920 - 1940
Description

A 1945 Omega Automatic wristwatch. A large stainless steel case of complex design. The lugs are accentuated from the case, with a tapered edge towards the strap. A two tone silvered dial with lume filled Arabic numerals and hour markers. An inner minute track, segmented within the individual minutes. This model is often reffered to as the 'Ambassador'. A push fit case back with a securing bezel, all stainless steel. An original Omega winding crown. Case reference 2421-2. A 17 jewel caliber 28.10 automatic 'bumper' mechanism. Serial numbers date this watch to 1945.

Case width 36mm.
