Just back from our silversmith's, it has been professionally cleaned, dents removed, re-plated and polished, restoring it to it's former glory, a small old surface blemish is visible, mentioned purely for accuracy.

Designed by Keith Murray for Mappin & Webb. Keith Murray (1892-1981) was born in New Zealand and moved to the UK with his parents when he was 14.
He trained as an architect and worked as an illustrator before becoming a designer. During the 1930’s he produced designs in glass for Stevens & Williams, ceramic for Wedgwood and for silver manufacturers Mappin and Webb. His designs are now much sort after. Following the second world war, he returned to his career as an architect.
Excellent condition spanning 17" handle to handle x 14".
