Good Mid 19thc High Back Yew Wood Windsor Armchair Nottingham Area

Description

From a local estate.a good "christmas tree" splat high back yew tree windsor armchair c1840 .

So called "christmas tree" because of their fancy splats. Made in the nottinghamshire and grantham areas . These were where most high back yew wood chairs were made. It is completely made of yewtree except for the seat which is elm.

In perfect firm condition with no shakes or repairs this chair measures 111cms h 40cms d and 60cms w.

A wonderful warm colour .

If you want an ultimate comfortable chair this is it !!

We have two to sell and use a few around the house.
