An impressive Antique Antwerp brass mounted, walnut, ebony, red tortoiseshell and brass inlaid cabinet on stand, of architectural breakfront form. The crown having a pierced brass galleried pediment with 4 cast brass finials. Below are 2 banks of 4 drawers decorated with tortoiseshell, ebony, brass inlay and brass mounts.The breakfront central cupboard having intricate conforming decoration and opens to reveal 5 walnut and inlaid drawers. The cabinet has iron carrying handles to each side and is raised on 6 claw and ball legs which have had some restoration. The conforming walnut and ebony stand top with conforming walnut and boxwood inlay and raised on angled bobbin turned legs joined by a shaped iron stretcher.
