This is a very nice pair of boxed silver napkin rings, made by silversmiths Harold Bushell and Co. Tenby Street, Birmingham in 1912. Of circular form, these have engine-turned banding and a cast edging, decorated with foliate motifs. Each has a circular blank cartouche. The napkin rings are in excellent, antique condition showing little or no signs of use. There are no personal engravings and there never have been. The hallmarks are clear. The box is original, in good condition, lined with blue velvet and silk. It has a strong hinge and working brass catch. It opens and closes perfectly. There is some staining to the edges of the silk lining in the lid.
